A fascinating exhibition has arrived at the Montreal Gold Museum, and this time the protagonist is Colombia. The Gold Museum, renowned for housing one of the most important collections of pre-Columbian art, has opened its doors to an extraordinary display that transports visitors to the ancient indigenous civilizations of Colombia.

In the context of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Colombia and Canada, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) and the Bank of the Republic of Colombia, with the support of the Embassy of Colombia in Canada, present the exhibition “El Mundo en tus Manos” (Portable Universe Thought and Splendour of Indigenous Colombia) in Montreal, open to the public from June 3rd to October 1st, 2023.
The ticket price is $24 CAD for individuals over 31 years old, $16 CAD for individuals between 21 and 30 years old, and free for individuals under 20 years old.

The Gallery Guides of the Museum are available at the exhibition to enhance your visit by engaging in a conversation (in French or English) about the exhibited artworks. The available hours are Wednesdays, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Fridays to Sundays, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Additionally, for Spanish-speaking visitors, an interpreter will be available every Sunday, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., to facilitate conversations with the Gallery Guides.
